Statement – September 2024
We are currently developing our Environmental Strategy Action Plan.
In the coming months this page will be updated with developments and commitments from us as an organisation as we work towards further understanding our impact on the environment and steps to create a more sustainable working environment.
We will be utilising the Theatre Green Book and other local networks to increase knowledge and impact whilst continuing to run a vibrant and exciting venue in London’s West End.
Delivery will be through the main areas of our Environmental Strategy Action Plan: Operation, Building and Production.
This policy applies to all those who work at and visit Leicester Square Theatre.
Our commitments:
- To ingrain environmental sustainability into the practice of all departments at Leicester Square Theatre.
- To work to the standards of the Theatre Green Book.
- To use the best practice to help minimise our carbon impact.
- To report on our progress annually.
- To share our experience and learn from others within the wider sector.
