About Us

Leicester Square Theatre is a magnificently restored 400-seat theatre located in the heart of the West End. Museum of Comedy is a smaller venue based in the crypt of the Grade I listed St George’s Church in Bloomsbury. We are currently seeking a self-motivated and proactive individual with an eye for detail to join us as the General Manager, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of both venues. This is a senior management role reporting to the Directors.

Hours: 40 per week – 10am – 6pm, Monday – Friday with occasional evenings and weekends

Job Description

You will be responsible for the smooth running of both venues with particular responsibility in overseeing the HR and line management of the Technical Manager and Front of House Managers.

We are looking for someone with strong multitasking abilities, adept at handling pressure, and demonstrating efficiency in day-to-day tasks.

The ideal candidate should excel in prioritising workloads, exhibit meticulous planning skills, and possess effective communication skills for interacting with a wide variety of people, whether in person or through email.

We are looking for someone who has 3-5 years experience working in a comparable environment with proven experience of line management, motivating & developing a wide range of staff.
